Edith Finch. What Remains of Edith Finch by Giant Sparrow is a collection of short stories about a cursed family in Washington State. Each story offers a chance to experience the life of a different family member with stories ranging from the early 1900s to the present day.
If you’re looking for a quick play, I’d recommend picking up What Remains of Edith Finch. I was able to finish it in a couple of days even with my kids pestering me every five minutes. The story follows young Edith as she travels back through her childhood home and tells the story of what happened to all the family members who have passed away there. The game explores mental illness and tells such an engaging story that I’m actually looking forward to playing it again. It reminds me a lot of Myst, which I wish there were more point and click games with such engaging stories and wonderful world building. Definitely a must play.
